Project Details
Banner was commissioned by the City of Tea, SD to help them in developing a state-of-the-art law enforcement facility. Our team worked directly with the City and police staff to understand their program requirements and design a safe, inviting, and functional facility to best serve the people and police of Tea. The Tea Law Enforcement Center comprises a 6500 sq. ft. Administration area constructed of steel and masonry components and a 4500 sq. ft. Patrol Garage formed using precast wall panels. The Administration area features a secure entrance/lobby area that provides a safe barrier between the public and staff while still allowing visibility and interaction. Other spaces include an evidence lab, secure vault, patrolman area, staff offices, training room, locker rooms, and multiple interview rooms for privacy. The locker rooms also double as tornado safe rooms in case of an emergency. The Patrol Garage has parking for eight squad cars, a wash bay, and an exercise room. Both the Administration area and garage are expandable to accommodate future growth. We are proud to have delivered a facility that aligns with the community’s law enforcement needs.
