Project Details

The Campground Expansion Phase II at Palisades State Park, is a continuation and expansion of the earlier Phase I project. Its primary goal is to further develop the park to enhance visitor experiences. This was accomplished by:

  • Building on the expansion achieved in Phase I, the project further increased the number of available camping spaces in Palisades State Park.
  • The project added more features and accommodations, thereby enhancing the overall park experience for visitors.
  • The project was designed to meet the growing demand and public interest in Palisades State Park, particularly in the context of easing travel restrictions and increasing outdoor recreational activities. It helps to make Palisades State Park a destination for visitors by improving and expanding its facilities and features.
