Project Details

All three projects are currently undergoing various renovation or improvement processes. As part of that, very detailed information is required on the interiors of these plants. This is important for designing the new parts of the plants. It is critical to be able to tie in and or avoid certain existing parts of the plant. Things such as existing piping, walls, and control systems. Accurately locating these items in a three-dimensional space can be challenging with traditional methods. Scanning was chosen as the best tool to model the existing plants. Banner completed scanning of all three of these facilities and produced colorized point clouds to model existing conditions and to check for interference with proposed components.
