McKeever Vending is a full-line vending company that constructed a distribution facility in the Brookings area. Expanding their services, they recently constructed a second building on their site to serve a variety of distribution trucks and to provide some rental opportunities. The site includes a recessed loading bay to accommodate a forklift inside the new facility, two loading bays that serve rear-loading or side-loading trucks, and one loading bay for rear-loading tractor trailers. Banner used truck turning software to help lay out the site and design the loading bays. The water distribution and sanitary collection system was designed with separate services to sections of the building collected to one street connection. This allows rental of the individual sections as the City can meter and bill water separately for each section. The site also includes a storm water detention pond system, control structure, and a parking lot for employees.
