Scope of Work 1
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held at 1:00 p.m., Local Time, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the WEB Water Treatment Plant, 29680 SD Highway 1804, Selby, SD 57472. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
A new raw water metering vault and one 1.5 MG raw water regulating tank;
Expansion of the existing treatment facilities to approximately 17-MGD by adding an additional train of equipment. The additional train will be sized to 6 MGD;
Rehabilitation of the existing filters from 1984 and 1987 including new underdrain, media, and air scour system;
A new 500,000-gallon clearwell that will mirror the existing underground storage;
Replace two original high service pumps and add a fifth new high service pump;
A new 150,000-gallon washwater recovery basin;
All mechanical, electrical and control equipment necessary to provide a fully functioning facility;
Temporary and permanent erosion control, fencing, reclamation and seeding;
Traffic control during construction; and
Clean-up and start-up services, and all other miscellaneous work required but not herein mentioned but inferred from the construction Contract Documents.
