Base Bid (Station 846+70 to 1512+00) - Approximately 66,530 linear feet of 24” diameter buried steel or ductile iron pipe (this pipe length includes the 2,560 feet Big Sioux River crossing and 1,830 feet of small drainage and other crossings using horizontal directional drilling techniques) and approximately 600 linear feet of jacked or bored highway and railroad crossing casing pipe (36” or 42” diameter);
Miscellaneous appurtenances including direct bury gate valves, isolation valves and combination air valves (including concrete vaults), and blow-off assemblies;
Relocation of existing small diameter rural water lines;
Temporary and permanent erosion control, fencing, reclamation and seeding;
Impressed current cathodic protection systems, joint bonds, and test stations;
Corrosion protection system components including galvanic anodes, coating and linings;
Traffic control during construction;
Pigging, flushing and hydrostatic pressure testing of Pipeline Segment TWP IA-3;
Pigging and flushing of Pipeline Segments TWP-12 and TWP IA-2;
Flushing of Pipeline Segments TWP-11 (east of the Beresford meter building) and TWP IA-1 and the Hull and Sioux Center Service Lines;
Disinfection of Pipeline Segments TWP-11 (east of the Beresford meter building), TWP-12, TWP IA-3, TWP IA-2, TWP IA-1 and the Hull and Sioux Center Service Lines; and
Clean up and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction contract documents.
