A base bid to raise a sludge drying bed, which includes the following:
Approximately, 130,700 cubic yards of general clay import to raise the elevation of the City’s existing sludge drying bed approximately 4 feet.
Approximately, 28,900 cubic yards of clay liner import to create an impermeable layer on the sludge drying bed floor.
Approximately, 2,096 feet of 10-inch and 104 feet of 8-inch gravity sewer piping to convey decant from the sludge drying bed.
Approximately, 1,415 feet of 6-inch force main sewer piping to convey sludge to the sludge drying bed.

A bid alternative to raise a second sludge drying bed, which includes the following:
Approximately, 112,100 cubic yards of general clay import to raise the elevation of the City’s existing sludge drying bed approximately 4 feet.
Approximately, 29,700 cubic yards of clay liner import to create an impermeable layer on the sludge drying bed floor.
Approximately, 1,187 feet of 8-inch gravity sewer piping to convey decant from the sludge drying bed.
Approximately, 633 feet of 6-inch force main sewer piping to convey sludge to the sludge drying bed.
