BASE BID:

Surface preparation and recoating of interior of 0.15 MG Wells Tower (near Pukwana, SD) and 0.10 MG Tolsma Tower (near Stickney, SD) double ellipsoidal water storage reservoirs.  Tower interiors shall be blasted to SP10 “Near-White Metal Blast”, and completely coated with zinc based primer, stripe coat and final coat with epoxy system. 
Surface preparation and recoating of exterior of 0.15 MG Wells Tower. Tower exterior shall be power washed to remove all surface contaminants, spot primed, and completely coated with acrylic intermediate and top coats.
Surface preparation and recoating of exterior of 0.10 MG Tolsma Tower. Tower exterior shall be blasted to SP6 “Commercial Metal Blast”, and completely coated with zinc based primer, stripe coat, intermediate and final coats with polyurethane system.
Replace existing vents with new AWWA-compliant frost-free tank vents on both water towers.
Clean up, startup services, and all other miscellaneous work required but not herein mentioned but inferred from the construction Contract Documents.
 

BID ALTERNATE #1:

Blast exterior of 0.15 MG Wells Tower (near Pukwana, SD). Tower exterior shall be blasted to SP6 “Commercial Metal Blast”, and completely coated with zinc based primer, stripe coat, intermediate and final coats with polyurethane system.

BID ALTERNATE #2:

Upgrade the exterior coating system to include a fluoropolymer finish coat for both water towers. Bid Alternate #2 will not be accepted without accepting Bid Alternate #1.
