What’s the best way to start your day?
If it’s not heading out hunting or fishing it would be a quick exercise, breakfast and several cups of coffee.
Where do you usually go when you when you have time off? I’m usually headed to the outdoors either hunting, fishing or recently hiking.
Who inspires you to be better? The one who inspires me the most would be my daughter. Knowing that she is always watching and learning drives me to want to be a better person so I can lead better by example and provide a solid foundation for her to feed off of in the future.
What are three interesting facts about you? I grew up in the outdoors, going hunting and/or fishing almost daily; I went to a private Lutheran school from kindergarten through 8th grade; I’m currently serving on the Board of Education for a private Lutheran Preschool program.
What’s the most amazing place in nature you’ve been? I could say the top of Angel’s Landing or in the Narrows of Zion National Park but what comes to me first isn’t any place in particular but a moment in nature when I was in the midst of a rutting elk herd waiting for the herd bull to step into the clearing while screaming satellite bulls are a mere feet away.
If you were given one thousand acres of land that you didn’t need to pay taxes on but couldn’t sell, what would you do with it? I would improve it for sustainable wildlife management.
