What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? A pilgrimage to Rome, the Holy Land, or the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. Anyone of those adventures would be tremendously influential to my life of faith.
Why did you decide to do the work you are doing now? Being a Geographic Information Specialist for the Environmental Department of an engineering consulting firm is the perfect intersection of my Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from South Dakota State University (Go Jacks) and my extensive graduate, government, and military training in Geospatial Engineering. Beyond blessed to be a member of Banner’s winning team!
What book impacted you the most? The Confessions of Saint Augustine written around 400 A.D. The autobiography was very instrumental at the onset of a big conversion in my life, and I often go back to it.
What was one of the most interesting/best concerts you’ve been to? Kings Kaleidoscope in Burnsville, Minnesota—it was a small intimate crowd, but had all the energy of a sold-out arena, and I got to speak with the members of the band after the concert at length about the inspiration for their music.
What movie always makes you laugh no matter how often you watch it? Either “Get Smart” with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway, or “Eurovision” with Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams—both of which are immensely quotable.
