In 2017 the Grant County Highway Department identified 3 bridges in need of preservation work. The bridges were originally built between the late 1950’s and the late 1970’s. A SDDOT BIG Preservation Grant was awarded to the county in 2018 for over 1 million dollars. Plans were developed and the 3 bridges were bundled together as one bid package. Construction wrapped up in the fall of 2019.

Banner provided the engineering experience and expertise for the preservation work from project conception to project completion. Banner worked together with the county and the contractor to successfully execute the preservation work.
